Planets of the Empire

At the time of its founding, the Empire consisted of 3010 inhabited worlds. In the Age of Illumination there are over 3600 worlds.
The following are descriptions of a few of the more interesting planets:

Tywoshak Planet number 1.

With a diameter far larger than that of Earth, Tywoshak features thousands of island chains on an amber ocean. It was the homeworld of the Empire's founder. Presently a commercial hub.

Xatme Planet number 43.

Smaller than Earth, Xatme is a clouded, oceanic world, featuring a region of continuous rainfall famed to wing-diving tourists as the skyfalls.

Esterso Planet number 133.

The homeworld of Dyno, son of Thermeon, and brunt of many of his jokes.

Wamatu Planet number 161.

Almost the size of Earth, Wamatu has cobalt blue oceans and swirling white clouds. Dwi forests covers the main continent. The natives really have blue blood.

Amugro Planet number 169.

Amugro is a mid-sized planet with a tropical climate, home to fearsome sea creatures known as kroksos, and a haughty, cavern-dwelling people who believe that Patternistics is magic.

Dasqua Planet number 174.

After Thermeon shared the knowledge of his mindpowers with its people, many Dasquans became mindseas. The most famous of them was Akoz, who helped Thermeon to establish his inter-galactic trading company.

Saqufe Planet number 190.

Larger than Earth, Saqufe is covered by deserts and black marshes where poisonous reptiles abound. It is the prime exporter of precious metals to the Empire.

Mosalno Planet number 402.

Better know as the "Museum Planet", Mosalno is a small world, undistinguished except for its habitat domes which simulate the conditions of every world of the Empire. It is the site of the famous Orphan School. as well as the center for deep-level horseracing.

Ulbia and moon

Planet number 482. Ulbia is the site of the Empire's most famous moon-races.

Niom Planet number 997.

A large world covered with deep oceans, Niom was the capital of Quintillion's empire during the Lesser War, when he and his son Torm fought for supremacy.

Karth Planet number 1058.

A small, wintry world, Karth is the site of the Space Academy that Thermeon founded after his battle with the alien monster known as the Aiggle.

Haslo Planet number 1269.

Almost as large as Tywoshak, Haslo is an oceanic world where the people live in beautiful floating cities.

Uzkooske Planet number 1714.

An Earth-sized oceanic world, Uzkooske is famous for a triennial sports competion which brings together athletes from all over the Empire.

Bri Planet number 1730.

A small world of black sands and smothering clouds, Bri is famous for its Pilot Training School, where most of the Empire's interplanetary pilots learned their stuff. It is also the location of the amusement park "Take Care" with its Mini Milky Way.

Beesse Planet number 2126.

Not really a planet, but a collection of asteroids.

Lal Planet number 2215.

Capital of the Empire, Lal is a hot, desert world far larger than Earth or even Tywoshak. It is Thermeon's homeworld. Meklodi, famed getaway of the rich and famous, is located on Lal.

Longgor Planet number 2384.

A barren, cratered world a little larger than Mars. Most natives have never seen a flower. They live on "milk" obtained from microorganisms that live in the rocks. It is the homeworld of Emperor Vaz and Empress Galena.

Eorseum Planet number 2819.

A volcanic world a little smaller than Earth. Offers tourists spectacular views of eruptions on the "lava trail".

Hopario Planet number 3010.

Last planet to join the original Empire. A small, largely ice-covered, world. Its natives were ancestors of the imperial armed forces.

Ulona Planet number 3011.

Just a little larger in diameter than Lal, Ulona is the largest planet in the Empire. Ulona is tilted almost ninety degrees on its axis. Native fauna migrate to avoid the prolonged darkness that alternately grips each pole. It is a volcanic world covered by lava plains and wrapped in thick clouds. It is the site of the patternistic City of Alonaton built by Katora.

Medne Planet number 3068.

An oceanic world larger than Earth, Medne is the Empire's chief source of material for building interplanetary ships. It was part of Maxuas' secret empire. From the depths of its black ocean great, luminous upwellings of deep-level materials sometimes occur.

Rexros Planet number 3069.

A world of vast grasslands and plains Rexros was the capital of Maxuas' secret empire--fifty-eight planets that he discovered and annexed without Thermeon's knowledge in preparation for the Great War. These fifty-eight planets declared their independence and became the Red Star Empire, a hive empire, during the reign of Empress Katora.

Meru-Iola Planet number 3386.

A large world, Meru-Iola features shallow oceans and many continents. It once headed the independent Empire of the Code, which was annexed after a millennium-long war with Thermeon, and which has striven ever since to regain its independence.

Huthfrac Planet number 3483.

Huthfrac is a small world, home to a native species of sentient plant. Thermeon made first contact with and absorbed the planet into the Empire. After he had finished being emperor and running his detective agency, he became king of Huthfrac.
